Woodpecker Worries

We hosted playgroup tonight and my friend Christy was talking about the trouble they were having with pilliated woodpeckers. This reminded me of how much my dad hated those darn birds. Living in a house with wood siding the woodpeckers just loved our house. I dinstinctly remember waking up at 6 am to the sound of them pecking on the wall right beside my bed. Dad tried everything to get rid of them but he was never completely successful.
