On April 10, 2012 my dad passed away unexpectedly. This blog is my attempt to capture the stories and memories of his most extraordinary life. My hope is that it will also be a way to heal my heart.

Real Smiles
Looking back at photos it was always tough to catch my dad with a real smile. This photo is one of the rare instances when we caught his grin on camera. I am so thankful they were able to take this trip together.
